Delivery Overview
At Ephrata Furniture, we understand how excited you are to receive your new furniture — and we’re just as eager to get it to you quickly, safely, and affordably. Due to the size and nature of our products, delivery fees do apply. However, we’ve worked hard to offer you the most competitive delivery rates possible across South Africa.
Delivery Timelines
Gauteng Deliveries: Within 1–3 working days
Nationwide Deliveries (Outside Gauteng): Within 3–7 working days
Custom or Made-to-Order Items: Delivery timelines will be communicated based on production lead time
Please note: All delivery timeframes are subject to stock availability.
Delivery Process
All online orders are dispatched from our main warehouse in Johannesburg.
We deliver directly to your home or office anywhere in South Africa.
Some oversized or restricted items may need to be collected from our warehouse if third-party couriers are unable to deliver them.
Once your order and delivery address are received, we will contact you to confirm availability, delivery charges, and dispatch timelines.
Deliveries are done weekdays only, and our logistics partners cannot guarantee specific delivery hours.
Important Delivery Terms
All delivery dates are approximations and depend on courier availability and location.
Ephrata Furniture will not be held liable for delays caused by third-party carriers or unforeseen events.
Failure to meet estimated delivery dates does not constitute grounds for cancellation of your order.
In some cases, your order may arrive in multiple deliveries.
Deliveries require a signature upon receipt. Goods will not be left unattended.
Customers must make arrangements to be available on the agreed delivery date.
If no one is available to receive the delivery and the driver cannot reach you, re-delivery charges may apply.
Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order under the following conditions:
Before Dispatch:
Orders may be cancelled at no cost before they leave our warehouse. Simply contact us by phone or email.
After Dispatch:
If the order has already left our warehouse, cancellation will be subject to:
A delivery fee (non-refundable)
A 10% cancellation fee based on the product price
Return of the goods to our warehouse in their original condition
Refunds will only be processed once the returned goods are received and inspected.
If Ephrata Furniture initiates the cancellation, no fees will apply and a full refund will be issued.
